Intro to Lucet
This tool has been used for centuries to produce a non-elastic cord that has been used for lacing corsets, bodices, shoes, bags, and as piping for trim on garments. Modern uses include jewelry making and one-of-a-kind shoelaces. Lucets are useful tools for living history interpreters, re-enactors, and museum docents. They are small, carry-along tools that are airport safe, made of wood or bone with no sharp points. Come spend a delightful couple of hours learning to use this great little tool. This class is appropriate for ages 10 through adult. |
